Personal finance guides and calculators

Who we are

The MyClickTools Editorial Team is the small team that builds the free calculators on this site – EMI, loan eligibility, SIP, income tax, GST and more – and writes the guides that explain them. We are not a bank, a lender or a registered investment adviser, and we don’t sell financial products.

Our guides focus on the arithmetic behind everyday money decisions: how an EMI is calculated, what paying only the minimum on a credit card really costs, or how much a prepayment saves. Every number in an article can be reproduced with the matching calculator, so you never have to take our word for it.

How we write and check articles

  • Sources: interest-rate rules, tax slabs and limits come from published sources such as the Reserve Bank of India, the Income Tax Department, the GST Council and lenders’ own rate pages.
  • Worked examples: people named in examples are illustrative, and their figures are calculated – we label them as such and don’t present them as real customers.
  • Updates: when budgets, tax rules or RBI policy change, we revise the affected guides and calculators and update the date shown on the article.
  • Corrections: if you spot a mistake, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Not financial advice

Our articles are general information to help you understand your options. Your situation – income, existing loans, tax position and goals – may change what is right for you. For decisions such as taking a large loan or choosing investments, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser or your bank, and read our terms and disclaimer.
