    Pixels = size in inches × DPI. For centimetres, divide by 2.54 first – so 3.5 cm at 300 DPI is 3.5 ÷ 2.54 × 300 ≈ 413 pixels.

    How do I resize an image to exact pixels?

    Choose Pixels, type the width and height, and untick “Keep proportions”. Then choose how to handle a different shape: Fill crops the edges, Fit adds padding, and Stretch distorts the image to fit.

    How do I resize a photo for a form, like 3.5 × 4.5 cm?

    Choose Print size, enter 3.5 × 4.5, set the unit to cm and the DPI to 300 (or what the form asks for). The result is 413 × 531 pixels – the exact size at that resolution.

    How do I make an image smaller in KB?

    Resizing to fewer pixels reduces the file size a lot. To hit an exact limit like 50 KB, use our Image Compressor’s Target size option, which also resizes if needed.

    Can I resize many images at once?

    Will enlarging an image make it sharper?

    No. Enlarging spreads the same detail over more pixels, so it can look soft. Tick “Don’t enlarge” to keep small images at their original size.

    What does DPI mean?

    DPI (dots per inch) is how many pixels are printed per inch. 300 DPI is standard for photo prints and most forms; 150 DPI is fine for documents. On screens, only the pixel size matters.
