    Frequently asked questions

How do I convert WebP to JPG or PNG?

Add your WebP images, choose JPG (smaller, no transparency) or PNG (lossless, keeps transparency) and download. You can convert many files at once.

How do I convert PNG to JPG without a black background?

Choose JPG and set the background colour – white by default. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with that colour instead of turning black.

How do I convert SVG to PNG?

Add the SVG file, choose PNG and set “SVG width” to the size you need, such as 1024 or 2048 pixels. The image keeps the SVG’s proportions and transparency.

How do I make a favicon (.ico) file?

Choose ICO and tick the sizes you want – 16, 32 and 48 px are the classic favicon sizes; add 256 px for Windows icons. Start from a square PNG or SVG for the best result.

    Which format should I use?

WebP or AVIF for websites (small files, transparency supported), JPG for photos you share or upload to forms, PNG for screenshots, logos and anything needing perfect quality, and ICO for favicons.

Can I convert HEIC iPhone photos?

Most browsers can’t open HEIC files. On iPhone, set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to take JPG photos, or share the photo, which usually converts it to JPG.

    Are animated GIFs supported?

GIFs are converted using their first frame. Use our GIF Maker to create animated GIFs.

    Are my images uploaded?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser, so it’s fast and private.
