Frequently asked questions
What does Auto enhance do?
It stretches each colour channel so the darkest and brightest parts of the photo use the full range – which fixes dull, washed-out pictures and removes most colour casts – then adds a little contrast, vibrance and sharpening.
How do I fix a dark or low-light photo?
Choose Low light. It raises exposure and shadows, protects highlights and reduces noise. Increase Shadows further if the dark areas still look too dark.
How do I make a photographed document clearer?
Choose Document. It boosts contrast, brightens the paper, removes most colour and sharpens text – useful for receipts, notes and forms photographed with a phone.
Does the 2× upscale use AI?
No. It enlarges the photo with high-quality resampling and then sharpens it. That gives a cleaner result than simple enlarging, but it can’t invent detail the way AI upscalers do.
What’s the difference between sharpness and clarity?
Sharpness boosts fine edges such as hair and text. Clarity boosts mid-sized contrast, which adds punch to textures, landscapes and buildings. Use both gently to avoid halos.
Will my photo lose quality?
No. The preview is scaled for speed, but the download is processed at full resolution. PNG is lossless; JPG and WebP let you choose the quality.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
